Kung Fu Panda!

In a few weeks I'm going to be moving from Tuff Puppy to Kung Fu Panda (the television series). Let's hope all goes well! One thing's for sure, the characters are tons of fun to draw. especially Po.

I'm planning to post more stuff soon. About 6 months ago I decided to start keeping a sketchbook again and it's been so rewarding. I'll post that stuff soon as well as some more Tuff Puppy Storyboards.

WISHOLOGY HR. 1

I had the privilege of working on the very beginning of wishology. I got to storyboard the matrix sequence, the lord of the rings sequence, and the harry potter sequence. that was a lot of fun! of course the most entertaining part was drawing cosmo as gollum.

I know it's been a long time since I posted, but life sometimes gets in the way (buying a house, having a second baby... you know, the usual.)

i'll begin posting some of my work on wishology since it finally aired.

SUPER POOF

HOLY COW! I'M ACTUALLY POSTING!!! life has been busy. my family is growing, with another baby on the way (a girl!), and my parents have adopted a little girl (lily) whose the exact same age as my son (micah)! work is awesome, but always busy.

since this episode has aired already, it's probably safe for me to post this storyboard. it was fun working on this board, especially drawing poof. I also really enjoyed filling the aquarium with fish and coral. I did this board on the cintiq, working in sketchbook pro. looking at the board now, it's amazing to see how much my work has improved from last season. I cringe looking at some of these drawings, but hey, you gotta start somewhere.

Golly, I haven't posted anything in ages! I was in Hawaii for one week and then I was busy working on a freelance board for Danny Phantom. It was the last episode! anyways, I'm gonna post some more stuff now. I did these drawings at work during a costume/figure drawing class. enjoy.

I did these guys early this year. I really enjoy working in ink. It forces you to make a decision and stick with it.

I did these at a lifedrawing class at work. Man am I rusty! The model, however, was awesome. One of the coolest parts about being in this class was seeing some of the other guys drawings. They put me to shame.

I Started this blog last week, and since I'm a newby to the blog world there isn't much to look at. So right now I will probably post fairly often, at least for the time being, so that when you visit you have a few images to look at.
