Recently I'd realized that I don't like how I draw the ladies. So here's my attempt at getting better.

Seashore the Whale

I did this for my son's elementary school year book. Their class mascot is an orca whale named Seashore (kind of an unfortunate name, but hey, that's what happens when you let 1st graders name their mascot).  Good Lord, this was a tough one. I just hope the kids don't all hate it and go, "Hey that doesn't look like me! Micah's dad is a hack!", because that would be depressing. Here's hoping they don't hate it.

Poor Hazel

The other day I handed my youngest daughter, Hazel, to a nursery worker

Hazel gave a look to the caretaker that I had never seen her give before.
A look you don't expect to see from a 1 year old.

At first I didn't think much of it. Maybe she's just a really judgmental kid.

Then it hit me

(Expensive flashback effect)

As I was about to hand Hazel over I caught a whiff of something foul

Boom. there it was. A startlingly offensive case of halitosis.

It was like what I imagine a zombie would smell like if it had just eaten a gang of hobos.

And poor Hazel was at ground zero.

So as soon as I could I raced back to snatch her from an untimely (and stinky)  fate

Thankfully she was okay. Mostly.

But I have a funny suspicion she's holding a grudge... :(

The douchelorette

I was drawing the other night while my wife (not me!) was watching the Bachelorette, and came up with this piece of work:

I already thought that this guy was a douche but then Lauren pointed out to me that I missed a key piece of clothing on this fine gentlemen. Amazingly enough it made him even more douchey.

V-neck = 17 % more douchey
